Past overdue is an understatement. We’ve known about Platinum VIP for awhile but the stars never aligned for a proper shop visit. Our first exposure to Platinum was through a mutual friend and longtime OG to the scene, John Tan of Crashed Car fame. John was launching his newest calendar project under T-pub LA and one of the cars within his calendar just so happened to be a Platinum car – shop owner, Kennedy Nguyen’s white VIP-styled Lexus LS. Well, we contacted Kennedy on our annual trip to Los Angeles and the rest is what you see before you. A welcome visit and some pics of their perfectionist work.

Just one of the shop’s flagship rides – The Job Design Lexus Aristo. Pictures don’t do this car justice. The custom-mixed White Pearl plays so many tricks to  your eyes as it changes its hue at different angles. Don’t let the aesthetics fool you. Under the hood is a godzilla-sized turbo ready to suck in victims.

This clean black Lexus LS sits on their in-house “Phantom Cup Kit” coil/air hybrid suspension. We love how this car lays frame like nobody’s business.

Although Platinum specializes in VIP-themed vehicles, they can also properly fit anything including this dope S13 180sx.
