This is our last shop feature from Galen‘s amazing trip to Japan. Of course, what trip to Japan would be complete without a visit to what could possibly be the best aftermarket parts shop in the world – Super Autobacs. I remember reading about this shop in a mid-90s issue of Super Street or Sport Compact Car magazine and dreaming about shopping their aisles. For those of us who may never visit, we hope this blog post gives you a glimpse into what is literally a candy shop for tuners. Imagine walking into a shop and leaving with that set of mag blue Volks you wanted – immediately. Not placing an order for your local shop to ship from Japan to arrive in months lol. Don’t mix this shop with the former Stanton-based shop. I’ve visited the former Autobacs and it held absolutely zero resemblance to the original. Anyhow, feast your eyes on the goods!
