Importfest 2012

Wow, what a weekend. Importfest is something we’re always glad to participate in and this year was no exception! We brought out a few cars in partnership with our friends at Titoboy Approved Apparel including a couple of the best Honda Ruckus bikes in the GTA. A couple of our current and future feature cars attracted the crowds all day. Thanks goes to Navin and Curtis for representing with us!

Mike F’s custom Ruckus from Team TDS and Anthony T’s “Northern Touch” Ruckus representing Rucksters in California.

We sold out of ALL our Mens tees and dropped some new stickers! Womens tees are still available on our e-store! The new line will drop this Fall so be on the lookout!

The lovely ladies from JVC Mobile visited us to say hi! (L-R: Aldrey Nuguid, Ria De Luna)

We’d like to thank the organizers of Importfest for once again inviting us to sponsor their Aggressive Fitment competition class. It’s more than apparent the fitment game is gaining ground year after year with the number of vehicles getting properly fitted. What did that mean? It meant there were lots of cars to choose from, making our decision for awards that much tougher. Our category is based off of a complete vehicle, the complete package including paint, wheel fitment, an overall aesthetic, and of course – the lows! When it came down to the final hour, we brought out our trusty “meter” to help us pick the best of the best.

Ryan Styles VW Jetta – 1st Place Aggressive Fitment

Jeff Lindo’s VW GTi took home 2nd Place Aggressive Fitment

Dan Banh’s Honda S2000 took home 3rd Place Aggressive Fitment

Congratulations goes out to all the winners, it was a very difficult decision! Of course, these weren’t the only cars that put out their fitment game. Here’s some more of what caught our eye!

Our friends at Ertefa had some good representation including this nicely-fitted Acura TL.

Our sponsor, Meguiar’s brought out the coveted Veilside FD3S RX-7!

There was steady traffic at everyone’s favourite shop, ShinzoWerks!

Check out Kevin Lam’s Voltex-equipped STi rocking the “School Of Hard Parked” decal!

Ladies love the design!

One of our in-house photographers, Heimond Ching, came out hard this year with his J’s Racing-equipped FD2!

Brian Requena’s EK representing Elevated was in the BGP booth along with some interesting cars.

This was the line-up situation the majority of the afternoon!

Level One crew never needs an introduction. Galen Wan aka Gawa Photo has been quite busy since last year. Check out the jaw-dropping colour-change wrap and SSR wheels on his Honda Fit!

Look familiar? It’s Jeff’s MR2 from the feature we dropped not too long ago!

Our official videographer, Backstage Productions was busy at work!

Remember Rich’s Datsun from Montreal? He’s still promising us that long-awaited feature!

That finishes our coverage of Importfest 2012. You can peep the full album on our Official Facebook page!
