If you’ve been following aggressive fitment culture you may have noticed a similar community running parallel on two wheels. Most of the heavy hitters are already in this game including Fatlace, JHPUSA, Blox, Autofashion, and even Ben Baller! I’m talking about the Honda Ruckus, a pint-sized “battle scooter” with a diminutive 50cc power-plant. Luckily, the ruck community is all about modding and transforming the bike into the amazing machines you see today. The ruck scene has strong roots from Japan to California and we’ve visited a couple of the best shops in SoCal already (check out our shop features on Standard Functions and Bowls). This time around, we decided to drop in on Rucksters Customs, as recommended by our good friend, Dooder! We heard about a bike they built called “game fuckin over” so we had to see it with our own eyes.

Look at this bike. Now look at a picture of a stock Ruck. Yeah, my point exactly. NOTHING, absolutely nothing has remained stock with GFO! The bike is simply jaw-dropping. Everything from it’s chassis, motor, wheels, suspension has been modded and taken to the next level! Of course, we appreciate the super extended wheel-base and aggressive stance! Did I mention this thing is also turbo-charged?

As you can tell, the bike was meticulously crafted together with custom parts. We spoke with Hai, one of the founders of Rucksters and he gave us the low-down on the bike’s intent and origin. GFO was conceived in early 2011 as a project build for an upcoming television show called iKUZTOM. The yet-to-be aired show detailed the build from start to finish, highlighting the pain-staking work, heart, and soul which Rucksters stands for. Hai wanted to highlight the fact that his shop proudly builds custom bikes with distinct styles and flavors. Each build takes inspiration from cultures such as the Hot Rod scene, to custom choppers, and even architecture! Look at GFO and the proof is in the pudding!

GFO is obviously the flagship bike for Rucksters but they are fully-capable of building anything their customers need. This includes hand-crafted work, installation, assembly, custom fabrication, anodizing, paint, mechanic service and more. One-stop shop is an understatement!
